Remembering adah

In the Doggie World, sometimes it takes a lot to let people understand that our dogs are not just our dogs.  They are family and they mean something to us.  And they mean something to the people that have passed on...just like our friend Adah.  Adah did not only touch the hearts of the doggie moms and dads, she also touched the hearts of countless dogs.  I know that Adah loved her dogs and would do anything for them, but she was also a very special person.  She touched many lives and she made me, personally, feel very good about my own issues.  Adah was in remission from Cancer and although she had been through a tough time herself, when we talked she always made it a point to ask how I was doing and if there were any new things with MS that I could think about doing. She was just amazing.  That is why when she passed it was such a loss to our commuity.  We are our own little family and we treat each other as brothers and sisters, fighting, arguing just like family, but in the end we are always there for each other.  Adah was in remission from Breast Cancer, but stomach cancer took her from us.  We miss her smile and her amazing costumes that she made for her pup Nina.  We are hosing a fundraiser in her name for the American Cancer Society.  100% of the proceeds will be donated and we have some amazing people from the doggie community that have stepped up and provided either their time or talent to help make this show possible.  We will celebate Adah, her love for us and our dogs.  We hope you will come out and celebrate with us.  RIP Adah!  I miss you!
